Autumn 1

This term, Year 5 will explore our context "Where is the Love?" where the children will discover a range of topics such as: War, Conflict & Invasion, Citizens of Change, A Worthy Cause and Diversity. 

Our topic was launched with an exciting immersion afternoon, where the children explored artefacts, images and various resources. These experiences sparked curiosity and questioning skills before beginning the Autumn term of learning. The children have already begun exploring World War I poetry which will build the foundation for creating their own meaningful poems.
