This term, our learning will take us back in time as we explore the fascinating worlds of the Ancient Egyptians, Ancient Greeks and Romans, alongside some Christmas learning as we approach the festive season!
We will begin with a particular focus on Ancient Egypt, finding out how the Egyptians lived, what they believed and why the River Nile was so important to their civilisation. We will explore hieroglyphics, mummification, Egyptian gods, food, clothing and medicine, and develop our understanding of chronology by placing events on timelines. We are also looking forward to bringing our learning to life with a visit to the Egypt Centre in Swansea, where the children will have the opportunity to investigate real artefacts and historical evidence.
