This term Dosbarth Bumbles are building on forming positive relationships with our friends, encouraging communication, turn taking, independence and settling in to the new classroom. We are learning about ourselves and how we are different but how we treat people the same. Dosbarth Bumbles will be learning about different families and families from around the world.  Within number we will be counting up to 10 then 20, practicing patterns and measuring length and weight. Within reading we will be learning all of the letter sounds and using them to blend and read 3 letter words. Nursery will be encouraged to sing Nursery rhymes and listen to stories increasing concentration. We will learn to recognise and write our names and practice writing .  Most of all we will be having lots of fun and learning through play.  The children will decide lots of the learning.  We are creating a warm and welcoming environment in which all children and parents are welcome.
